HOMER Grid Users Can Now Model Demand Response for Distributed Energy Systems
HOMER Energy LLC announced today that the HOMER® Grid software for modeling the economic and engineering feasibility of grid-tied hybrid renewable energy systems now includes the capability to model the economic benefits of participation in demand response contracts. I was lucky enough to attend all three tours along with microgrid industry professionals from around the world. The highlight for me was the last tour of the day, a visit to a solar testing facility near Denver International Airport.
