The HOMER software has been the de facto global standard for pre-feasibility analysis of distributed power projects and microgrids since its original creation at NREL in the early 1990’s. HOMER Energy has been supporting and enhancing the software since 2009. This has included conducting numerous training workshops around the world.
In 2019 we intend to make significant improvements to our training programs, including the development of standardized curricula and a certification exam. We are looking for educational partners with experience in curriculum development who can help us create that in addition to instructor and student guides. We are going to start with a 6-hour introductory course on HOMER Pro. Later we intend to create additional curricula the advanced features of HOMER Pro, as well as for the new HOMER Grid.
If you have the required experience and if you have used HOMER in an educational setting, please respond by January 25th, 2019 to with your CV and a short description of your work with HOMER.
