HOMER® Energy Provides Training in Puerto Rico with PR-SEIA

Puerto Rico hurricane damageHOMER Energy Support Manager Aleph Baumbach and solar engineer Alison Mason are in Puerto Rico at the moment discussing ways that solar-plus-storage systems can help restore electricity to the island. The occasion is a meeting of Puerto Rico Solar Energy Industry Association, and HOMER Energy will be conducting a two day Foundations training on the use of HOMER Pro. Puerto Rico is is still devastated after Hurricane Maria slammed into the island in late September of last year, destroying the electric grid and killing over 1,000 people. Restoration of electricity is still a major challenge and a top priority.
