HOMER Energy CEO to Join Sir Richard Branson,
Fabien Cousteau as Key Speakers at CTEC
When the Carribean Transitional Energy Conference (CTEC) takes place in the Cayman Islands next month, attendees will enjoy a star-studded lineup of key speakers, including HOMER CEO Dr. Peter Lilienthal. Topping the list is keynote speaker Fabien Cousteau, grandson of the famed Jacques-Yves Cousteau, who is a leading aquanaut in his own right, an ocean conservationist, and a documentary filmmaker. Sir Richard Branson, English business mogul, investor, and philanthropist, will present via Skype. In addition to Lilienthal, Branson, and Cousteau, two more key speakers will be Cayman Islands Premier Alden McLaughlin and his minister of planning, lands, housing, and infrastructure D. Kurt Tibetts.
CTEC will take place at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa on Grand Cayman on May 11, 2017. The conference focuses on setting out a vision for Cayman’s low-carbon future, creating a renewable roadmap, and creating opportunities. Delegates from local, regional, and global public, private and non-profit sectors, including government officials, project developers, manufacturers, investors, and non-profit organizations, are invited “to participate in a collaborative approach to a sustainable future.”
