According to a recent survey conducted by Utility Dive of 265 U.S. electric utility and independent power producer executives, an overwhelming 97% of respondents see microgrids as a business opportunity for them over the next decade. More than half of utilities surveyed see themselves in the microgrid market even earlier – within five years.
