Join the HOMER software team to discover how to take the guesswork out of forecasting electric vehicle (EV) charging revenue and costs in this short webinar. As EV sales surge, the future of EV charging-equipped parking potentially is paved with economic opportunity. But it’s not as easy as installing direct-current fast charging and getting the needed power supply.
Distributed renewable generation-plus-storage systems often offer a quicker, better and less costly solution than power grid upgrades. But how do you evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of adding distributed renewable energy-powered charging stations?
In this complimentary webinar, you will see how to quickly design, analyze and forecast the revenue and cost of EV charging in seven easy steps with robust, easy-to-use HOMER® Grid modeling software.
Fill out the form below to access the webinar recording and learn:
- How to maximize EV charging ROI.
- The ease of importing utility tariffs and incentive programs for your location.
- When on-demand versus managed charging is more efficient.
- The value of running 100s of what-if scenarios within minutes to find the least-cost and best solution for you.
- The power of modeling software to quickly provide actionable insights, reduce analysis and decision-making time and enable a faster time-to-project-completion or sale.

Have a nice day
I watched the webinar “Electrify Your Parking Lot: Predict Revenue and Cost of EV Charging in Seven Easy Steps” and really enjoyed the details you provided in your software for designing a parking lot integrated with power plant. I have an idea that I hope will interest you. If an additional option is added in the analysis section titled Equivalent carbon dioxide captured in this power generation process, it will also provide the audience with the environmental value of this power plant. For this, it is enough to use simple conversions, for example:
Energy produced by power plant / LHV light vehicle fuel (usually gasoline) * carbon dioxide produced by burning this volume of gasoline = carbon dioxide captured
I wish success to you and all those who work in the field of environmental improvement.
Best Wishes.
Hi Dany,
Thank you for this interesting comment. Our team is looking at your equation!
All the best,
Lili Francklyn
We would like to know if you are operating in Botswana
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for contacting HOMER Energy / UL Solutions. Our software is downloadable from our website https://homerenergy.com from anywhere in the world except from countries where it is legally prohibited according to U.S. law. After you download it you have three weeks to use a fully featured trial version. If you find that useful you can purchase it online. We have engineers who are ready to advise on specific projects for a reasonable consulting fee, and a very helpful technical support team. Links to contact them are also on HOMEREnergy.com. We have quite a few (over 200) users in Botswana – past and present – many of them students affiliated with your universities. There are some from the Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST). You might want to contact their engineering department to find out about their work and local projects. We also have opportunities for online and occasionally in-person training that you will find listed in The Microgrid News.
Sincerely,
Lili Francklyn
